It has taken me roughly 2 months and a score of sleepless nights but I have finally managed to secure a job for at least the coming months and if I do good, the coming years!

I managed to land a job as application-governor at a mental hospital. My task is mostly to speak with the doctors to understand what they would like to see in their information systems, then try and get it in there either by working on it myself or duking it out with our suppliers. I also get to see what improvements can be made in the whole administrative process and apparantly they enjoyed my enthusiasm so much, I get to aid in the whole fusion process that they will start come 2010.

All in all, it's an awesome position to start in, with a lot of variety in the job and I get to employ my consultative knowledge which I greatly desired.

Most of all I am glad I finally have an income and get to do something during the day!

I've read that a lot of others here fear for their job or have a hard time finding something. I certainly hope that it'll all pick up for yu too soon enough!

Mmm nee niet specifiek met de AO. AO/IC hebben natuurlijk erg veel raakvlakken met mijn functie als applicatiebeheerder maar specifiek daarop zitten, nee. Ik zal vooral bezig zijn met troubleshooten van de systemen, trainen, en wensen van de cliënten navolgen. Ik heb met AO/IC alleen te maken doordat veel systemen gekoppeld zijn aan de DBC's, EPD's en interne administratie systemen. Ik val eigenlijk onder ZIS.
