I don't think there is any question Jared would not have been as productive, but like you said - it wouldn't have changed the outcome, just the severity.  I actually disagree with the idea that Edwards would have been completely shut down though, he was having a great game even before Jared got going...again we can speculate it might not have been as good...but the whole excercise is just that...speculation.

I can speculate what would have happened if Favre had run for 5-6 more yards and then out of bounds and let us kick the game-winning field goal....but he didn't.  I could speculate about what would have happened if Peterson, Berrian, or Harvin hadn't fumbled...but they did. In both cases it sucks for the fans to have to watch it fall apart - but unfortunately sports is a zero sum game and someone has to lose.

Really though something I would point out is that whenever you have a blowout in an NFL game it goes a lot deeper than just one person being injured or one person not stepping up.  But I think thats what makes the game worth watching....

I know the Saints are a better football team than Minnesota. That was evident.

Why would I have said "the Vikings barely won", if they had beat them by a field goal in OT?

I didn't insult you. I, simply corrected you. The score was 34-3, not 31-3.

Cowboys simply lost because our left tackle got injured and Jared Allen took advantage of a player who never played the position before.. But think what u want cuz I'll give u multiple links of where they discuss it. First two drives went into Viqueens territory and were successful. Then as soon as our LT went down Jared Allen forced Romo out of the pocket every time causing him sacks and fumbles. ANYTIME a QB get flushed out of the pocket constantly like that, they won't do good. So no u have no clue what ur talkin about"

Secondly he wasn't banned for starting an argument. He was banned for flaming.

 

And you were arguing that the Cowboys would have done better if Adams had played. He wouldn't have given the Cowboys the win as you stated. So, why does it matter? A lose is a lose.

Minnesota... I still hate them over Hutch-gate, and what Adrian Peterson said about the Seahawks. If he wasn't from Texas... Well, I think that's what jboy's trying to say. You're only flaunting the Vikings because they're in the NFC title game. If they lose, Brett Favre retires, and they return to the trash they inevitably will be, you won't mention them again until they have another magical momentum year.
