Checking the chartz i conclude that nowdays FIFA has become the mainstream of football games.

The difference in the PS3 is about 300000 in favour of FIFA. The same version of PES is also suffering to make a huge difference to the 360 version of FIFA09...

I believe it to be because of recent PES games to be under par compared to the FIFA games?

Also I know I'm as one who (used to) despises the lack of licences PES had.

Fifa became the best football game. It has the gameplay, it has the licenses, it has the game modes. Is clearly the better choice for the football gamers...

i always was on Fifas side...i really think that PES was maybe 2 years better but then Fifa did such big steps forward i really couldnt belive it...Fifa 09 was very impressed and im really anticipating Fifa10!

Football games do sell a lot more on the PS3 it seems.

Well IMO the PES will sell much less this year as there has been a very negative response by football gamers this year which usually bases their buying decisions on whether the last game was good or not and read whatever review they see in a magazine.


I see the PS3 gaining much more football gamers after this price cut as I know a lot who have decided to buy the 360 because of the high price but as it's more reasonable, I now know of some who will be spreading out their wallets for the PS3 plus a couple more for GT5!

It will only get worse with 2010 and introduction of the new FIFA features.

PES is playing catch and not even at same pace.

And all love and loyalty PES had is now gone since now we already in the middle of this gen and people that bought PES because they were better last gen, now already know this gen is FIFA's.

The only thing that saves Konami is japan, but only for a while.
