i play the "truly great" games first, then i go to the other games. i am never without a game to entertain myself with.

My wii made me poor. It told me to buy games and little did I know it was a trick to keep me sticking around and now I'm out of money

I don't feel spoiled, just broke

Since 2006 there had been more than 6 games each year on the Wii that i would want to buy deeming them critical . Another 6 i would deem as optional so, i might say that i am getting a lot of games that i enjoy.

But if we're to look from a broader perspective, wii owners are definitaly not being spoiled as much as hd gamers are. For every exclusive the Wii has, the hd twins get a good game that for unknown reasons just isn't made for the Wii. sure that we can always say that the graphics are too much for the Wii but why not just make a version without all those gfx whistles?

seeing how the PSP gets a gta game, assassins creed, cod, tekken etc why can't the Wii get those versions of the game? for me, it's beyond any logic.

Yeah, it makes no sense at all. I never thought i would see the day, that they would ignore an installbase of 50 million consoles, with the lowerst  developmentcosts for a current console. Why would you ignore it? Even if a director would actually hate the wii (sad as it is), then he still can't ignore the marketleader.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii ....thats all i'd need for the Wii, everything else was/will be just bonuses =)

I base this on my sister who is your typical core Nintendo owner, not casual by any sense of the word, but also not one that even visits sites like VG. She only owned the Gamecube and was very happy with the games on it, she didn't bother getting a PS2.

She recently got a PS3 slim...I asked her why and she simply said that the wii wasn't satisfying her gaming needs...that it was going to casual, and that surprising the PS3 happened to have games she liked. She still owns more wii games, but her PS3 collection is growing exponential.

Now I'm not saying that she represents all wii core owners, but more like there are many nintendo supporters like her going the multi-console route to get their gaming hit.
