im spoiled by wii, as its the cheapest system i got this gen, and it continues to wow me
just got resort and im loving it, also got ghostbusters and its pretty sick, good wii controls
hell even playing castlevania 3 on it rocks
wii is spoiled maybe
These are the Wii games I'm looking forward to:
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Metroid: Other M (assuming it's not like MP - for some reason I could never get into that series)
Fragile
The only two Wii games I've bought so far this year:
Little King's Story (amazing - but it now!)
MadWorld (kinda regret it, like No More Heroes)
And I'll be getting Wii Sports Resort whenever I can scrounge up the cash. I could probably play Table Tennis all day long, I kid you not!
I certainly wouldn't say I'm spoiled, but I'm pretty content at the moment. My only complaint is that Nintendo is taking their sweet time getting some of their more common franchises onto the Wii, franchises that would work great with the Wii's controls (WaveRace, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis - all three of which had seen GameCube iterations by this point in the console's life). I'm also annoyed that Nintendo will have released two handheld Zeldas before even announcing Zelda Wii. Screw the handhelds! Give me my console Zelda!
@Maelstrome
Nice list, now I feel like going out & buying some of those games :p

Couldn't agree more; give me Okami and Little King's Story over Resident Evil or Grand Theft Auto any day. If only we could get Persona 5...

I have about 30 wii titles and I'm not missing an HD console one bit. There's so many great games I think that I'm having trouble getting to them often enough. It sucks growing old with responsibilities. I miss my long nights with nothing the next day but to finish a game. That went to the trash with the first diaper I changed in the middle of the night many years ago.
Between buying games and getting gifts and gift cards, I'm getting about 10 games atleast a year. My total might be more than 30. I need to count them tonight. I know I have a bunch of N64 games, not very many PS2 game, very few PS1 games and close to 50 GCN games. I will not even try to burn my brain and recall the NES games. lol
Wii doesn't have GOW or COD:MW2 but I'm excited to play MW 1 on the Wii soon and I'm positive that as an old school core gamer, it's great to be a Wii owner.
Consoles owned: NES, N64, PS1, GC, PS2, Wii.
Currently playing...

i think i get the gist of what you are saying. i enjoy pretty much all games to some degree. have you looked at the archives on this site? over 1k games for the wii, over 700 for 360,and nearly 600 for ps3. i have no problem finding enjoyable titles amung the massive libraries for each console.
after i revise my wii list ill be revising my 360 and ps3 lists. after those ill be making a ds list. too bad more people arent like me in enjoying the industry as a whole.

I enjoy tons of games and even like some terrible games, but I try to avoid bad games and devote my limited amount of time to them.
If I just played every game that might have a few redeeming qualities that came along, I wouldn't have enough time to play the truly GREAT games.
