Forums - Gaming - Will Sonic ever make comeback?

Just 1 2D game to Ds would be enough for most of players, and if it could get to 80+metacritic it would be nice for Sega point of view.
Then they might start to make some masterpieces.

what? there are already 2 on the DS: Sonic Rush (82% at gamerankings) and Sonic Rush Adventure (80% at gamerankings)

according to VGchartz, Sonic Rush sold 2.89 million copies, while the sequel sold 460k (without Others sales)

Well, I suppose you could say that Sonic has gone the way of Mario, just all around somewhat lower in quality.

He stars in games that aren't considered high quality by the"experienced gamer", yet they sell a lot, which probably means that the "once-in-a-while" gamers are likely to have given it a word of recommendation.

All in all, Sonic has developed in the same way as parts of Mario. You know, Mario Party, Tennis, Golf, etc. Mario has just maintained some games that the "experienced gamers" are more likely to consider good.

I guess my point is; He has developed away from "experienced gamers", which means that he is unlikely to move back.

Sonic has become more like a mascot lolz.
