Yes the PS3 will sell 1 million in 1 week. People didn't even think the PS3 would sell over 500K. Don't underestimate the PS brand.

The only way PS3 can sell 1 mil in one week is if GT5 will have a very big launch or if by some miracle FF7's remake will be out in November.



Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

I can't see it exceeding 800k personally, it's pretty dam early to predict though. Imo I'm very generous with those numbers.

 

 

I would say rather something like this:

 

Japan: 200k

Europe: 300k

US: 250k

 

So 700-800k tops in best case scenario IMO. 1 million is not impossible but extremely unlikely...

Japan- 150k
Europe 450k
America - 500k

Total 1.1 million.

A little bit optimistic but hey u have to be

I don't expect a FF7 remake anytime soon, but I acknowledge the possibility of the PS3 selling 1 mil units in a week IF a FF7 remake will be released this november.

You predict that it will sell more in America than in Europe? Not a chance. =P

My prediction:

Japan: 175k (FFXIII launch)

America: 265k

Europe: 400k

= 840k

I think X360 did 850k last year. PS3 slim had bigger impact. So, 1 million is possible.

Maybe bit low. I watched more 2007 sales because I think PS3 will do almost similarly this holiday in america as it did two years ago.
