FF13 PS3 Bundle 'planned,' but nothing concrete yet

Sony boss Kaz Hirai has confirmed that a Playstation 3 Final Fantasy XIII bundle is in the works for Japan, but is not ready for full announcement just yet.

Speaking at the Final Fantasy XIII Premiere Party, Kaz congratulated Square Enix on their work on FF13 and the success of FF7 on the Playstation store before telling the crowds of journalists present that a bundle was "planned," but nothing was ready for announcement just yet.

Sony will undoubtedly be pushing Final Fantasy XIII as a major reason to own a PS3 in Japan, where the game is exclusive.

I wonder what the numbers are going to be like in Japan when it releases. When FFVII released I heard the PS1 racked up 500000 sales in Japan alone for that month.
