If we're talking about just Japan I can see 750K units being moved in December. If both GT5 and XIII are bundled maybe 1 mill.

For the Wii, WFP is a leggy game while SRW Neo should give a week's boost. For the PS3, NGS2 isn't very big in Japan (for reference, NG2 sold 50k in the 360, NGS sold 90k on the PS3) but I think it can do 100k some LTD. Maybe like 120k-130k max. Bayonetta and Tekken 6 release the same exact week, but they release 10/29 - very late in the month that I'm not sure if it can make up a big gap in the middle of the month. Will be very close. Can't really call it either way.

Uncharted 2 is also released in Japan on Oct 15th.... obviously won't move many units though.

I live in Japan. They don't really celebrate xmas, it is just a novelty really. They do however celebrate new yaers like our xmas and give a tonne of presents. The 17th is a perfect date to release a massive game for the new years rush, plus, be in time for the few that give xmas pressies, too. It will be huge. and if GT5 gets out... fuck me!

With both it could reach 1 millon here in Japan. SONY has all the right moves of late.

is final fantasy gonna be bundled? if it is then i can see ps3 selling 1 million+ in japan easily. come on think about it guys. this is one of if not the biggest game in japan.

but they will only bundle 25k or atmost 50k.. so bundling is not going to make a lot of difference.
