PC is one of the system that gets the most income.

WoW is an exemple (even if it isnt a good game imo) and the Sims too.

WOW is a money maker. Everyone is jumping into the MMO bandwagon.

I guess PC's are the backbone of consoles architecture now.. and they keep growing at a fast rate.. especially tech wise.. so it makes sense to base your engines on the PC( lower licensing rates?)... good move capcom.. Sega kinda did the same with lindbergh.

Focusing on the PC otherwise is misleading. There is no reason for them to abandon the consoles that have made capcom survive the arcade crisis.. this is more in the lines of " we are multiplat now.. good for gamers everywhere"



Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Since current generation started PC always get superior version of all Capcom games so it's nothing new.

Well everybody who has played Capcom games on PC pre DMC4 knows how bad they were. Resident Evil 4 PC was a fucking travesty when it was released. No mouse support or lighting/shaders? WTF. The latest batch of Capcom PC games have been quite amazing. Too often we see devs leave the PC for consoles. Nice a counterexample.

It is, I'm very impressed with Capcom, particularly in the way they've adopted Steam and given extras on all their games over the console ports. They obviously 'get' the PC market in a way a lot of other developers would do well to copy and I hope they make some serious money out of it, they certainly deserve to.
