I think Sony never wanted them to annouced it anyway, they are saving this news for TGS. But, it's weird as you say, no one is reporting this.

An other french website says that Sony has confirmed the bundles : http://www.ultimateps3.fr/news-ps3-3329.html

We can read :
"MAJ : Sony vient de confirmer l'arrivée de ses packs pour la fin de l'année ! Une très bonne nouvelle !"

which means :
"UPDATE : Sony has just confirmed those bundles for the end of the year ! Good news !"
