Could be true...we will see how the PS3 has affected the 360 with its sales...I think the 360 will start to lose steam in october-november but pick up slightly during the holidays...the only problem is, the PS3 is all set to have a legendary holiday season and that's gonna damage the 360 even more...Natal will most likely be the deciding factor though, I'm still not sure if it's gonna sell many 360s.

@Tbone, your reaction is more then expected. As I mentioned in the OP this statement is overenthusiastic, it's meant that way. Nothing is sure, only that the Ps3 has a bright future ahead.

@Stewroids, as I've said the Ps3 has a bright future ahead, the same can be said about the 360. Just like Sony, Microsoft will have to keep up with the competition, and will secure more exclusives. Competition is healthy, that's why the Slim needed to sell good.

The real competition has begun.

ps3 has the exclusives sale wont drop till the ps4 comes out.

I'm still not sure if Natal is going to increase the 360 sales that much. It's not a relaunch, and I think it won't be as popular as the slim. I don't expect that it will cause a 400% increase in 360 hardware sales.

60K for UK alone is sort of confirmed after the 1000% increase. This means it COULD do 180k in others. It is very unlikely though that the slim will sell 170k units in America, so I think it won't top 500.000 units.

IIMO, it is quite the opposite of what you said.

A relaunch doesn't bring anything new (except the price)... more like getting out of the grave.

Natal WILL bring something new.
