Isn't the game required to be install on the HDD for the PS#...just like it could be for the 360? Here's my take...if you have an ARCADE 360..focusing on the word Arcade, and you want to play in-depth games,...buy a freaking HDD!
On the other point...SE knew they were going to dual plat the game...why the heck did they not build out the game correctly, by segementing it to fit the 3-4 disc? Sorry, but I don't buy, needing 3-4 disc for a game anyway. Gears is better looking than any JRPG and it didn't take 3-4 disc.

So the problem isn't the 360...it's the arcade 360 owners...damn them all...aaargh..oh wait!  Now, we've known about FF13 since last E3...2 years...and SE can't make it work...HUH?

SE is a special company. What takes normal devs 2 years takes them 5.

it had 2 years of prior work they were not going to trash because of the 360 port, they probably have to remove some things to make the transition easier, some smalls maps and optional stuff.

Geez guys, don't blame Square Enix for the PS3 being a failure. It's not their fault they can't rely on Sony a lone for outstanding sales.

I just want FF6 on my DS, everything else SE does is unimportant to me..

Still i think the PS3 got screwed on this one, the DVD format screwed the tons of CGI scenes on the PS3 version

Sony fanboys striking again.

S-E development staff says certain things need to be limited because it's multiplatform = ZOMG 360 RUINING FFXIII FOR US. DOWNGRADED!!!

S-E development staff says not one specific console is causing problems and they need to find the best performance for both = LOL! S-E BS!!! PR STUNT!!!! NEVER TRUST WHAT S-E SAY!!! DEVELOPER TALKING CRAP!!!

Seriously guys (and gals), can we agree on either they are both correct or they're both talking crap (I'm going with they're both talking crap and we should wait for the end product before we start talking).

Any chance of Nintendo bringing out another Wii titled game to put this generation to rest, seriously the slight downturn of Wii sales and the slight upturn of PS3 sales is bringing out the PS3 trolls in you all. I'd rather my platform (PS3) lose and not have this many rampaging PS3 fans. Normal PS3 fans promoting the PS3 is great, but when you start to attack other consoles, that's what you all would call "Microsoft tactics"....... Funny name really, given the situation.

This is just a smoke screen. Of course it is going to be "down graded somewhat". It will be very interesting when we have the exclusive FF13 verses to compare it too. Time will tell.

they already downgraded when they not making the game turn based or w/e that battle system was back when they made 12. its only gonna get worse from here... I don't think its going to make that much of a difference besides the absence of some CG....

Also interesting will be what direction SE takes with the PS3 after it thrashes the 360 in WW sales for 13. The comming Tales game on PS3 is just a small taste of Japan's strength in RPG's compared to the 360's sales.
