Here is some of the article

"Initial screenshots of the game may well look different to what we have now. This is part of the process of making the game - we have to get a feel for what the system can and can't handle - sometimes things are made better, sometimes things like the number of polygons on a model are reduced to make it more easy to display," he said, giving the reasons for the changes.

The important thing for us is that the game runs smoothly on both systems. We have made changes to the game, but nothing because of one system specifically - all changes have been made to get maximum performance."

Fact is, SE is a company.

Being a company, they want to maximise profit from their games. How is this acheived? By making one version of a game.

The PS3 is graphically more powerful than the 360 & has bluray. Bluray is bigger than DVD.

Making a game on more than one DVD costs more money, yet they are still expected to be sold at the average price of a game. Therefore it is in SE's best interest to make FF13 as small as possible to get it on as few DVDs as possible.

Therefore, FF13 is downgraded to fit onto DVD, and to work well with the 360's hardware. Can't really argue or deny this.

I Don't think SE is trying to make one version of the game better. They are just trying to make the game perfect. i think all these articles about the game being downgraded is just pure opinion and not facts. So what if the graphics of the game is slightly different from the other version of the game. Is graphics really all that important? I think it is to a limit.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

For me, the problem is the content, we already lost the J-audio because of the 360 disc limit (and SE not using more discs)... I blame the three of them: MS, SE and the lazy people...

This has become a day 2 buy for me. shame on you SE.

Do we really need a new topic on this every few days?

It's evidently a conspriracy to execute the great cover-up...for why another 3-disc JRPG shouldn't be on the 360.

Seriously, I feel like it is 2008 all over again and I am trying to sort through all of ForeverCloud's bullshit conspiracy hate threads towards FF going to 360 again.... .  You all remeber those times, lets not return to them again shall we.

I believe one of the bigger complaints was not graphics, but gameplay and how it would be affected due to the 360 storage situation. Not being able to access areas and side quests because the game was cut up to fit on several DVDs for 360, and a fear that to "keep them identical", you will not be able to access them at any time of your choosing on the PS3 version.

Havent followed the story (or the series for that matter) all that much though, so if they announced that you would be able to access everything at one time without regards to your progress in the game on the PS3 version I apologize.
