Yeah I've rarely seen anyone say all Final Fantasy games after 6 are crap.  I've seen a few people say not "as good" which means they still PLAY the series since they played the games they must think the series is still good enough for a purchase since no one in their right mind would keep buying something they think is crap.

Really? Even with Tidus narrating? I mean, the only really tolerable character so far is Wakka - and how bad is it when the best actor is John DiMaggio doing a wacky Jamaican accent?

Oh please. Of course, I'm exagerrating a little bit, but I find your claims that the story was cringe-worthy to be absolutely prepostorous and a huge exagerration. The same to the voice acting in the game. Sure it wasn't the greatest, but it isn't as bad as people talk about.

Hey Outlaw, have you ever seen The Transporter?

I've seen it in bits and pieces.

Not sure what Statham has to do with this game though.

All right, lemme fill in anybody who might be reading this.

The Transporter is a movie wherein Jason Statham plays the titular role: he takes packages from one plac and moves them to another.

In the movie, Mr. Statham gets a package which turns out to be a young woman bound and gagged inside of a duffel bag. This woman remains in this condition for about half the movie, at first in a humorous way and then until you feel sorry for her and then it is just weird for a while.

Eventually the tape comes off of her mouth, and the woman begins to act.

"Okay, Mr. Statham," you say to yourself, "I have heard enough of this. You can put her back in the bag now."

That is the point I am at with Yuna and her acting. I want to put her in the duffel bag and leave her on a pier as I sail away.

Khuutra, what do you think of the game so far?

Battles are cool, music is pretty nice (everything related to the church of Yevon is gorgeous), graphics are great, writing and voice acting are pretty terrible but I expect the former to improve.

Overall it's a positive experience. I will probably finish it.

LOL never saw the Transporter but I can see what you're talking about.  If you don't like the voice acting in FFX then please don't even try FFX-2.  I muted the TV sometimes playing that game...

And as far as exageratting anything, I really enjoyed Auron and his story, and the story does get better after the start, but honest to God the end made me pissed off, when someone spoiled the ending for me I thought they were joking, I beat the game that weekend came back to school and ranted for days.  And the whole reason the overall story got on my nerves were the cliches and the bad twists.  If the whole game was about Yunas dad Jhect and Auron and their adventure I think it could have been amazing cause finding the memory sheperes revealed a much more interesting story then the actual one you're on.
