Forums - Microsoft - The Xbox 360's RPG line-up really does own.

Both exclusive and otherwise, it appears the Xbox 360 will continue to be easily the greatest home console destination for an and all RPG gamers.

Upcoming awesomeness:

- Mass Effect 2

- Fable 3

- Risen

- Final Fantasy XIII

- Star Wars: The Old Republic

- Dragon Age Origins

- Kingdom Under Fire 2

- Magna Carta 2

- Ninty-Nine Nights 2

Edit:

- Fallout: Vegas

- Alpha Protocol

- Borderlands

- Resonance of Fate.

- Venetica

- Divinity 2

- Arcania

- Two Worlds II

As the most anticipated games function of this website doesn't really cater to Xbox 360 fans (given we are in the minority here), please use this thread to discuss which RPG's you are most looking forward too.  I know I have missed some RPG's, but if you remind me what they are I will gladly update the list.

Despite Fable being one of my most loved franchises of all time, the original Mass Effect's brilliance and it's release date's close proximity make it my most anticipated RPG.

the first ninety-nine nights sucked and the second one will probably follow the same line.

Well, there's some multiplats coming our way too. Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas from Obsidian and you can probably count Borderlands as well, though that's a roleplaying shooter. If I had to pick just one from that list, it would be Mass Effect 2 because the Mass Effect world is awesome and the fact that the dialogue system is the best I've ever seen. Fable III and Final Fantasy XIII aren't too far behind though.

Was the first one even an RPG?  I remember playing it when I first got my 360 and it just seemed like a bad action brawler type game.

I am looking forward to mass effect 2, fallout: Vegas, borderlands, and fable 3.

NNN is more like a Dynasty warriors type of game.

Resonance of Fate is another RPG coming next year. Hopefully tri-Ace can find some good voice actors this time around.

Yeah the 360 is the king for awesome RPG's.

I'll buy Mass Effect 2, Fable 3, Dragon Age, Resonance of Fate, Fallout: Vegas, Magna Carta 2, and KOTOR 3
