Because someone from VGChartz will stalk you and stab you when you're sleeping?

I already told you, it was an accident.

You're damn right. You stabbed the wrong person, you idiot.

does it fucking matter if i give out info or not.

Well, if not, we assume things.

Do you really want strangers to assume bad things about you?

that has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Gintama is the funniest show EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Proud owner of all currnet gen consoles.

I not a big wii fan

Okita the sadist.

Well so far for me I guess 2007.

Metroid Prime 3 , Zack and Wiki, Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, RE 4: Wii Edition

2008 runner up with Smash Brothers, No More Heroes and Mario Kart. 2008 was a very good year still and 2007 only edged it by a little bit thanks to Mario Galaxy.

2009 is better then the launch year anyways, but has awhile to go to match even 2008

It's just that simple.

Quality overall, 2010 is going to be the best, then 2011 and 2012 ftw! its getting better and better this year we got the Third Party next year, high quality third party, then well get big franchises and good casual gaming is suppose to sprout sometime in 2011 from the third party, i expect great things and tons of rail shooters!!! but thus far this is the best year

Nintendo is the best videogames company ever!

If that is your bar for "great", you might as well throw in Sonic and the Black Knight. First half of 2009 was very similar to second half of 2008, minus the awesomeness of a Wario Land. But the next four months do look indeed very promising.

Well, we got Klonoa first half '09 so that cancels out Wario.

I laughed.

Same here.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

lol wait till 2010 that'll put this year to shame. Dang it nintendo quiet drowning me with good games!

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

Biggest pikmin fan on VGchartz I won from a voting poll

Do Not Click here or else I will call on the eye of shining justice on you.

According to GameRankings.com:

in 2009 there were 20 games that ranked over 80%
in 2008 there were 27 games that ranked over 80%
in 2007 there were 10 games that ranked over 80%

Keep in mind that 2009 is nowhere near finished and it already has 20 games over 80%.

Let's see here... as for games' I've bought per year (Nintendo pubished/developed games in blue):

2006:

  • Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2
  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
  • Metal Slug Anthology
  • Rayman Raving Rabbids
  • Red Steel
  • Wii Sports

2007:

  • Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
  • Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
  • Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
  • Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
  • Sonic & the Secret Rings
  • Super Mario Galaxy
  • Super Paper Mario
  • WarioWare: Smooth Moves

2008:

  • Animal Crossing: City Folk
  • Boom Blox
  • de Blob
  • Endless Ocean
  • Guitar Hero: World Tour
  • Mario Kart Wii
  • No More Heroes
  • Okami
  • Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
  • Sonic Unleashed
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  • Wario Land: Shake It!
  • Wii Fit

2009:

  • Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
  • Little King's Story
  • MadWorld
  • Metroid Prime Trilogy
  • Muramasa: The Demon Blade
  • Sonic & the Black Knight
  • The Conduit
  • The House of the Dead: Overkill
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10
  • Wii Sports Resort

Hrm... they were all great years for sure. 2006 was launch day and Twilight Princess, which was wonderful. 2007 brought both Mario and Metroid, and Mario starred in my favorite game thus far this generation. 2008 brought multiplayer madness with Mario Kart and Smash Bros, two games I play all the time to this day, and had some single player greats such as Okami. 2009 is probably my most diverse year yet, with RPGs, platformers, sports, shooters... you name it.

And there's still New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
