I think the Covanent would win since they have advanced laser weapons and they could survive the harsh Helghan environment b/c they're aliens. Although the Helghast do have a sick assault rifle w/ shotgun attachment which is a bitch to play against (from Killzone 1).

Edit: I should add that if it had been Chimera vs Covenant I would have picked Chimera because of their advanced weapons and variety of different types.

Covenant

They have such a rich history and are so much more brutal in war than the Helghast. They burned dozens of human planets and killed billions of people and like some other people said before me they would crush the Helghans in a war.

The Covenant wouldn't care.
