Both MGS4 and Uncharted are Triple A exclusives for the PS3 that every PS3 owner MUST OWN! Both games have fantastic gameplay, Hollywood-like production values and will have plenty of sequels in the years to come. But which game looks better? Most people would say that MGS4 is a technical showcase with the best character models in the industry up to this day. But the textures in MGS4 are not nearly as strong as the ones in Uncharted. Uncharted has another advantage going for it as well: the art style, which combines colour in the most brilliant fashion that we have seen this generation. But then again, who can forget Act 4 in MGS4; the way the snow would settle on Snake's suit and gently accumulate on his body is a sight to behold. It's subtle touches like that which make MGS4 a masterpiece in the graphics department and makes this a very close call. LET THE VOTES POUR IN!

MGS4 for me as well...granted it doesn't have textures of animations as good as Uncharted, but the character models, octocamo, and minute details make this game come alive.

In my opinion:

Uncharted has amazing textures, vibrant colours, nice looking water, though the cutscenes are prerendered and the game has quite noticeable tearing and pop ups.

MGS4 has amazing character models, fully realtime cutscenes that have the best graphical quality, direction and mo capped animations i have --ever-- seen, great pp effects, exceptionally looking water and superb water interaction, zero tearings or pop ups, generally excelent framerate with much more going on, octocamo > bread.

MGS4 wins, but not really because of it's technological achievements, but mostly because of the almost overwhelming atention to details and because of how those little gestures and interactions that come naturally and we take for granted in movies are so flawlessly reproduced. God trully is in the details ;)
