Do you ever wear a shirt?

When I go to school or into a store or something. Also when I'm cold. Other than that, shirts are uncomfortable.

shirts are for the unhips!

btw- what prescription did the doctor say your eyes were?  Like -5?

Like -8.

If my vision was any worse I'd have to wear glasses/contacts in public by law xD I'm short sighted so I can't see things far away.. I wear contact lenses, don't own glasses.. And btw if you wanted the best vision contacts are far superior to glasses.

Yeah I have REALLY poor vision. Let's just say that any text 5ft+ away won't be read by me. Everything also gets blurry to the point where people look like blobs when they are more than 15ft+ away. I never wore my glasses though. Now I use contacts, which help A LOT. I wear my glasses when I'm too lazy to put my contacts in.

I can't read text 5 feet away, but I can see people 15 feet away without them looking like blobs.

I rememeber the first time I wore glasses ever since like... 14? 15? I think the start of High school. Up until then I was so stubborn not to wear glasses, I was much more rowdy and stuff, doing wrestling in middle school, getting into fights, caring about getting strong.

When high school started I began to focus more on studies, and I realized, since I was so fucking short, that no matter what I'll never be the strongest man alive (or at least kid in the school).

And wow, I remember the drive back home. Heading through the pathway towards Princeton, forgot what it's called. It's like this straight road with trees lined up left and right, and the leaves were falling and I could actually see every single petal. I could see the roads, the little cracks, the chips and cubes of stone. I could see the pores on my dad's face, every little hair.

You guys might be making fun of the OP and treating vision like a trivial, granted thing, but even today I could just stare at the world in awe, as if I was watching a HD movie. I wouldn't have been able to fully appreciate my first HD game's, GTA IV, graphics without my glasses. Without my glasses I would have just seen some muddy, boring world.

I need to take a look at GTA 4, and a lot of other games I've seen.

Also, how tall are you?

^ First time they made me wear contacts (I was around 10 y/o), the doctor though it was best to put them in my eyes herself. Bad idea because the moment her finger got within half an inch of my eye I promptly passed out.

Those were rigid contacts and I had to wear them all throughout my teens because they were supposed to prevent some eye disorder my dad had and maybe I would develop. Rigid contacts really sucked, my eyes got tired too fast, dust was painful, they fell off too often etc.

Switched to soft contacts a couple of years ago though (astigmatism and -2 dioptres) and it's been a pleasant ride since then, I use a new pair every month but other than that I don't need to take them out at all during the month, and I have none of the problems rigid contacts caused.

(I still have a pair of glasses just in case and actually like how I look with them on, but they are too much hassle)
