323 hours of Mario Kart and yet you are still rubbish

You've spent twice the time playing MK and you're half as good

I am glad that I never posted my numbers for individual games. People would think that I am crazy (even moreso than they do anyway).

I really don't know, it can't be that bad...

Since WoW came out, I've probably clocked ~250 days on it by now (been a while since I last checked). Sadly, it's pretty easy to find people who have done much worse. Sometimes, I wonder how this is even possible...

250 * 24 = 6000. 1000 hours in a year = ~3.15 hours a day. That's a little sad x.x Though for Counterstrike, I've done nearly as much

The Nintendo Channel can't collect this data itself? I thought it could.

The recently updated Nintendo Channel does. (Is this still only available in Japan?) For each individual game/channel, it records total time played and the number of play sessions. I don't recall if the previous version of the Nintendo Channel had a simiar function, but I don't think it did.
Checking my own game history, I was disappointed to discover that even time that a game is paused (on the Home menu) is still counted as time the game is played. If I have to get away for a while, I have a habit of placing a game on pause when I'm between save points and then sometimes not getting back to the game for a long time, maybe even several days. So, my history has some ridiculous numbers (for me), like 103 hours spent on Twilight Princess (even though I only went straight through the story, and only once, no side quests) and over 80 hours on POP in only 5 play sessions.

Nope... the Nintendo Channel in the West does not do this.

You really shouldn't do that by the way. What exactly is wrong with turning it off... it's not like old NES games where there wee no save points

I just wanted that Wii could do this on it's own... :(

For the most part, I have stopped doing it.

I can't believe this is the death of Mario Kart for you. ;_; A sad day for me. My Mario Kart will live on forever. This is truly sad. ;_;

I hope they update the Nintendo Channel in America soon. I want to know how long I have played some of my games, and I'm not going to go through all the messages to find out.
