I didnt know these guys just listening to their conversations. Also although I own 360 I think it's wrong that the staff there are telling people that they should get wii or 360. Once I heard a staff member say to a guy that it was a pointless purchase. Thats pretty bad in my eyes. People should make their own choices! It will have some good games of there own merrit. | Not exactly. Remeber that a lot of people want some info before thay buy a product, that's why they ask for someone's opinion. Therefore he didn't say it as astore clerk but as an individual. Hell he might have said that the Wii is a waste of time and no one could say a bad word about it. But he was right that it is a pointless purchase as of right now. The good games are going to appear later on, right now there aren't any killer games that that you couldn't buy on the xbox360. Wii is in a league of it's own right now, so no point in bringing it into the pointless/not pointless arguement. |
Sorry m8 disagree. It's a valid point. Advice would be: at the mo the games are so so. But 2008 has some cracking titles plus if you want HD vids it has Blu ray. Not just kicking it in the teeth. Also if someone told me to buy a wii 6 months ago and I got it home I personally would have been dissapointed. I personally think the time for me to get a wii is this christmas and i'm glad I waited. On the PS3 front it depends on which games remain exclusive. GT5 isnt a clause for me cause I have FM2. So we will see. |
Well, i'm talking about Europe so tell me, just how much of Europe gives a damn about HD ? that 5-8% of the whole EU population? Why bring the Wii up? It's not about it that we're talking here. About recieving advice from store clerks, what's the problem? You assume, that that the clerk only said: "No, the PS3 is a piece of crap, don't you even go near it." That you don't know. I have never seen any clerk that would actually go off like that. Better yet, if you ask a clerk for his individual thoughts on a product, which i myself always ask, you gain some perspective. They almost always explain why they would recommend this or another product. It's not about that it's wrong for the clerks to advise their clients in this form, it's about that we don't know how they will express their feelings for the products.
