Sony can lose this generation and still be in the game for the next one.. now if they lose the next generation, then it's over for the PlayStation console. Like it's been said before, maybe two chances is what a company gets, look at Nintendo, perfect example of a comeback. Lost 2 straight generations to the PlayStation, now they are dominating.

It's about making profit, not coming in 1st. As long as the company makes a profit, it can stay in business. That's the whole idea. Does BMW or Mercedes ever come in first in total car sales? Not even close. Are they still in business? Hell yes.

No last hope was MGS4, and it worked and PS3 was saved and it is not in danger anymore.
