| stewroids said: I bought the game for my sister when it first came out and she absolutely loves it and plays it to this day. I didn't really give the game a fair chance because I was busy with some other game back then and forgot about it. Just yesterday I started to play LBP again because I was really really bored and I had a blast. I did some of the story mode levels and searched for some levels as well. I didn't start making my own level yet; I figure it would be best to do that after I have collected enough objects. I was wondering though, if any of you still play this game and why. Is it the creation tools that bring you back for more, or is it the vast amount of user created content? |
Let me tell you that LBP is the most frustrating experience I ever had this gen:
It is a marvelous game, with great style and great ideas in the background, but I still don't understand what is the core audience of it.
The plateform session of the game is cute... but I get bored pretty quickly (the style and great music of the levels keeps me awake).
So I'm not done exploring the different chapters (planets) of the game (still stucked at the dead mexican style level....hum).
That is why I decided to direclty try created content...99 % of it sucks bad... so why not trying to do a level myself ?
The tutorials are great and the tools are terrific.... but .... but...
.... this game really revealed my creative inability ! I just can't thing of anything good to create... I'm already very bad a drawing and here it is even worth !! I just don't know what to do with those tools and it takes me hours to do something sh*t !
Good bye LBP...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
