Forums - Sony - Disappointments with MGS4

Might contain Spoilers We all agree that MGS 4 was a great game. Except im wrong, i dont think there is anyone who was 100% satisfied with everything that happened in the game. One of the biggest disappointments i had with the game was the lack of codec conversations. They weren't as many as they were in the other games. I didnt like the fact that there were only 2 contacts throughout the game. What was yours?

Mines is that I never bought, but that will change soon.

I am Washu-bot B, loyal servant of Final-Fan, the greatest scientific genius in the universe!

It was the best game ever!

one problem though, the installing every act thing

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

That a lot of the revelations has something to do with nano machines. The story is great but the nano machines thing still feels like a cheap cop out.

The nanomachines make it more realistic, as nanomachines will become a reality in the not so distant future.

installing an act was 1 thing i didnt like, other than that its amoungst the best games this gen.

i also wish metal gear online would have been able to install seperatly from main game.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

My biggest disappointment is that the local EB games has maybe 20-30 used copies sitting on the shelf, but the game still goes for only $5 under new.

I've never had a MGS game, and I don't think it is my kind of game, but I'm willing to try it if I could get it dirt cheap. I tried out Trace Memory for $6 and sold it for $8, so you can obviously see I'm willing to experiment

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

The reason there were less codec conversations is because the mission breifings basically told you everything you needed to know. Imagine having the long mssion briefings and codec convos. It would have been insane.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Five dollars for a new game? Where exactly is that EB Games.

It was the perfect game for me; my only gripe was the lengthy installations but that's certainly not a dealbreaker.
