While surfing amazon.co.jp, I noticed something strange - official Phantasy Star Portable 2 cover (not a placeholder) changed overnight, and right now it looks different from previous PSP covers. There's a yellow stripe that was never on the PSP covers before, and there's PSN sign as well.

Gran Turismo cover (or any other PSP cover for that matter) looks like this:

Now keep in mind GT launches in October, and Phantasy Star Portable 2 in December. There was a rumour doing rounds that PSP-4000 will appear sooner then we think - could this apparent change in PSP cover design be PSP-4000 releated?

Well, they could have easily changed the GT or any other cover for that matter, but chose to do so for the game launching in December.

Kingdom Hearts cover will be telling, especially if it's still coming this year. I wouldn't be surprised if there's PSP-4000 launching with KH, just like PSP-2000 launched with CC.

PSP 4000 hopefully looks like the GO only with UMD reader...

But that was the point of that rumour - that even though GO will be launching soon, PSP-4000 will appear sooner then we think.
