For me

1.PS2
2.PS1 (just barely behind and ahead 1st and 3rd)
3.SNES
4. Everything else (This includes, PS3, 360, Xbox, Master System, NES, Wii, N64 and Gamecube)

RPG's play a big role in my decisionmaking. My top 3 all had excellent RPG's and while SNES has the classics like FF4/FF6/Chrono Trigger/Seiken Densetsu etc. the other 2 offered more.

I never actually owned a NES, but my neighbor and my best friend both had one, so I had plenty of time with it. I actually liked the Master System more because I liked Phantasy Star and Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap more then anything else on the NES.

In terms of power, yes the PS3 is superior, but I must say I've enjoyed my Wii more than my PS3.  Not to say that is fact, this is entirely opinion.

Okay now I get it, though I think you might be going too far, though personally, I stopped paying much attention to IGN when they gave Football Manager 2009 like a 3 or something, it was the worst review ever

You also forgot they once gave God Hand a 3/10.

 

Why? Because they couldn't finish the game.

A few comments on what I think are the most glaring problems.

The N64 should have been given a much better place.

Considering the similar libraries, it is odd that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are so far apart.

The GameCube and PS3 should have been higher than the consoles at 12, 13, and 14.

That's just nonsensical trolling from IGN. I bet we all (save for teenaged die hard 360 fans) agree that N64>360 PS1>360 Dreamcast>360
and why the heck is ps3 so far behind. I get the wii hate thing, but the ps3 and the 360 are not that far away

How is Dreamcast not number 1? Compare any consoles first 2 years to dreamcasts 2 years on the market and DC rapes them sideways.

Yeah man the 360 is WAY better than alot of people make it out to be.  Overall I think its a pretty damn good list.  Although I would put the PS3 a little farther down the list...
