the game looks amazing, I want it do well, but if it releases near FF13, it will get slaughtered, like any FPS that releases near COD's (since COD4)

Versus XIII should and will sell over a million.

Sorry Soriku i couldnt find the article but I do think I remember him saying your arnrt control of special animation...but that doesn't mean you arnt in control of the actually firing..idk ill continue to look

FFX-2 was the sequel to a game that sold over 2.2 million Japan........same characters & the story went forward from FFX......so many FFX fans bought it for the story, as did I

please don't use that as an excuse for versus 13 to sell a lot, especially as it will have no link whatsoever to FF13 character wise

Your only reason for Versus to sell under a million is because it's a spin off. Other than that, you have nothing. It looks like it's going to be a great game, and I'm sure that it'll do over a million.

But Crisis Core isn't a spin-off by your definition either. It's a prequel to a far more successful game than FFX.

You can't really compare handhelds to consoles in this case.
