Thanks for the numbers, nice to look at from time to time. Reminds us that the PS3 overtaking the 360 will require a complete turnaround (I gave up the possibility after 08 holidays).

The Wii won't be crawling its way to 50% - if it's going to happen any time soon, it'll need some killer software so it can go back to completely dominating (like we saw in 08'). During its 08 year, it actually managed to outsell the HD consoles on average by nearly 300,000 a month. Who knows if it can get to that point again...

I'm curious how the holidays will play out, can't wait.

did you also think that maybe everyone that might already own the ps3 bout it for those games when tehy come out? which would end up not selling the system as much as  you think?

i think the game that will get a resurgance for the wii is NSMBWii much less anything else that comes out that is big. this xmas is gonna be huge for wii not being supply contraint and having a brand new mario bros out. this is a biggy i think personally.

Wii won't reach 50% ever is my prediction. With the PS3 now $299 and the 360 a very inexpensive $199/$299 the wii will have to drop price to maintain their 49% share, let alone gain market share.
