Xxcellent...they better not dare to change it
That is some good box art right there. Hopefully this one is as good as the last.
Though I wonder about how the market has changed, and how this game will fair. It used to be that an arcade experience such as the first one, or Starfox could be full price and no one thought twice about it. But now that different pricing structures for different types of products exist, can a one to two hour game really be full priced and it be justified? Hmm, though I guess looking at the sales of other on rails shooters on the wii, there is a market willing to pay for that kind of experience.
I guess what I'm saying is, as much as I adore the original I probably won't buy this at full price unless it is considerably more substantial than the original.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

i hope it does well :Swell thats another game for the Wii's library in Japan this holidays :D

Well, the whole point of those games is replayability. God knows how many times I beat Starfox 64, for instance, and I've beaten Sin and Punishment quite a few times too.
Arcade style can still be justified - it just has to be very, very good.
Looks pretty cool. I didn't think this was being released anywhere this year.
Unfortunately we have to wait in the West for like a year. If it has any of the appeal and replayability that Star Fox 64 has...............it will be great.

BUT i liked every single game i played wich was made by Treasure like Ikaruga, Mischiefmakers and Bangai-O so i'm sure i will like S&P2.

Well unfortunately I don't think it'll do too well. But as long as I get to play it next year that's ok with me.

That obviously depends on how much they expect it to sell.
Has any Treasure game sold more than a million? Several probably have but I've never heard the idea being mentioned. Also,Sin& Punishment 2's creation was spurred by the downloads the original recieved off the Virtual Console. That was only like 250k downloads I think.
Half a million is probably what they want it to sell lifetime, if I were to guess anything. Not exactly a mass market, blockbuster IP. It could be anywhere from 200k-600k
