PlayStation®3 has taken out the people's choice award for most stylish household good in news.com.au's inaugural Tech Style Awards.

over 18,000 people voted for either the PS3, Wii, xbox 360, A Retro radio and a Digital photoframe.

PS3 was most voted where as the judges chose Wii.

I was gonna say "What the!?!" with the judges choosing Wii. But then I read the parameters of the judging being a combination of both form and function and now I better understand the choice of the judges. Though I still wonder if wiimote really does beat the multi-media elements of PS3 and 360 that Wii lacks if you're looking for a "total package" not just the coolest single feature.

Voters probably went with looks, Judges probably got wowed by wiimote and nunchucks. Not quite sure how single function devices like digital photoframe and radio were meant to compete in a competition that required judges and voters to consider functionality as well as looks.

slim PS3 looks far better than xbox 360, imo.....which has the same problems that you state the slim has

but yeah PS3 Phat was elegant, a beauty & loked like a machine from the future!

i think slim still looks sexy
