A huge shoutout to Carl2291 and CGI-Quality who suggested the comparison between these two games. Both games came out around the same time and were instantly compared to each other. Although RE5 disappointed a lot of its survival horror fans when it turned into an action game, it is hard to dispute the fact that the game itself is beautiful. Dead Space came out of nowhere; this game wasn't under anyone's radar, but its intensity and concept appealed to hardcore survival horror fans (the game personally scared the shit out of me). Which game do you think looks better out of these two? Is it Dead Space with its tight corridors and cinematic setpieces (zero gravity sequences, I'm looking at you) or is it RE5 with its open villages and beautiful character models...you decide!

I like this match :D I'll go for dead space, because it looks cleaner and has a great atmosphere. RE5 has so much more replay value though.

I'm going for Dead Space also...RE5's environments weren't that great, although the character models were mindblowing! Dead Space had some spectacular setpieces...gazing far off into space, watching the giant planet in front of you, it was fantastic...the character animations were a teeny weeny bit better in Dead Space as well.
