Man Squrriel you know way too much dude!!!

I was talking about Kyoto Protocol, I just couldn't think about the name - in all do you consider that if a country is to abide by the Kyoto Protocol then it is of benefit to the planet?

Perhaps you're right about Gore, I didn't follow it as closely as I do now back then so I guess my view on things is skewed and jaded because I see Gore as the 'poor man' and Bush as the 'war criminal' - either way it's all okay for Gore to act 'holier than thou' since he was never elected, but I don't really get how Bush was elected, it just didn't seem legal.

Just real quick about Bush being totalitarian and controlling the media...are you crazy? Everyone knows the liberals are the ones who have vested interest in many media outlets, CNN, msnbc, cnbc, they all show the liberal spin on everything. FOX News doesnt, thats because its the NO SPIN ZONE baby!!! (hehe) I feel sorry for Americans who believe everything in videos that are post on the INTERNET!!! WOW!!! Especially when the videos are made by pure liberals who are trying to sway your beliefs by twisting the truth and distorting facts. Think for yourself, you are the sheep.

Changing channels with my voice: priceless!!!

First, Bush was voted in because he was better than Gore or Kerry, who are both horrible. I mean come on, inventing "carbon credits" and selling them for millions of dollars, I should have came up with that idea! The whole carbon credits thing is a scam.

Second, you aren't an American so I don't see why you are posting this. Why not post about the UK banning guns, swords, and other weapons, yet the violent crime rate keeps rising? In all honesty, America is just following what the European countries are doing. Slowly but surely, the American Government is getting bigger and stronger and more socialist.

I firmly believe that government should only provide minimal services, namely a Peace force (think police, but different mentality and objectives), a army, roads, water, other basic services. But schools, health care, social security, other socialist programs should not be supported by the government. This is what the original founders wanted, not what we currently have. Sure free health care and education is great, but at a 50% tax rate? I don't think so. Also, Social security is going to collapse and all the money I put in i'll never get out. Let me invest my own money how i see fit, why rip it out of my pocket to line others. If i wanted to give to others i would and i do.

Sadly we'll never have a president who will reduce the size of the government because neither party would support him because its their income that would be cut with less things to manage. Also the citizens have this mentality that the government can do anything without taking money out of their hands, but they can't.

Also, 9/11 was not a control device, it was a bunch of lunatic men thinking that killing thousands of innocent lives would somehow help other Muslims.

Sorry I'm not American, I think perhaps I need to do some more research.

Perhaps saying Bush controls the media is wrong, however the Media is certainly not a truthful source of information - it pushes individual agendas and that is why I try and stay away from it as much as I can.

Ugh...more 'Bush is a dictator' crap?

I don't agree with some of the the decisions he has made while in office, but he's not going for some 'dictatorial regime'. Why do people cook up this nonsense?

Bush was elected perfectly legally! It was a CLOSE election, but not an illegal one.

Oh, and Kyoto Protocol be damned. Global warming is a farce cooked up to promote a political agenda. I'm glad Bush didn't buy into it....

Please...leave the conspiracy theories to digg.com.

sigh...

Unfortunately I can't have an intelligent debate with you, because all your retorts will include either "conservative" or "sheep."

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I've noticed recently that foreigners are the ones cooking up these crazy ideas...and I'm wondering if it's either because they don't know how our government works, or they just feel like bashing Americans again.

I'm thinking its a combination of both, with a majority of the latter.....

I personally think the Kyoto protocol is a waste of time ...

The Kyoto protocol is a treaty that is based on a "Scientific Consensus" which really does not exist; there are currently thousands of researchers who can show evidence that some or all of the symptoms of "Global Warming" are caused by a variety of factors like Dirty Snow from soot (produced from industry) that is causing an increase in the melting in the North Pole, smog in South East Asia increasing the ammount of solar energy absorbed by the atmosphere, solar cycles manipulating the formations of clouds, and measurement errors demonstrating a warming trend where one does not exist.

None of the alternative sources for global warming are mentioned or dealt with in the Kyoto protocol and it is plausable that the Kyoto protocol could make some of them far worse.

Many hard-line conservatives use this information to mock liberals and claim that this shows there is no reason to change our actions ...

In my opinion, most of these problems are caused directly or indirectly from the excessive use of energy and there are countless social, economic, environemental and security reasons why westerners should drastically reduce the ammount of energy they use. Kyoto doesn't address the need to reduce energy consumption and only focuses on carbon dioxide produced and released into the atmosphere so as long as someone finds a way to trap the carbon dioxide (potentially by converting it to a heavier, more complicated molecule) the world can continue burning energy at an unsustainable rate ...
