Forums - Sony - PS3 Bayonetta Not Looking So Good?

well looks like my 360 might get some more use off it after all..pretty bad for sega though- they do have a winner on their hands.. would be horrible if stupid issues like blurry /choppy framrates got in the way.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

For real?

Its not even finished,Im sure the final product will be the same just like Batman.

Good thing this isn't the retail version, huh? This isn't uncommon. If the actual shelf copy (which I still don't plan on buying!) is a buggy mess, then we can talk. And even if it is, it's going to be because of the developer, and not the console. Both the PS3 and 360 have already shown that they're capable of more than what we've seen of Bayonetta.

I thought this thread was gonna be about how the gameplay is bad. Not the technical aspects.

A Devil May Cry ripoff from Sega... no chance in hell this will be good. Virtua Fighter 5 is really the only Sega game I've enjoyed this gen.

Valkyria Chronicles is another game worth noting, along with the Condemned series...

I never played Valkyria Chronicles nor do I have any interest in it. But I'll pretend its good anyway based on most reviews.

Condemned 1 and 2 were fantastic. You wanna know why? They weren't developed by Sega!

you do know the creater of DMC is the creater of Bayonetta right??

Oh, okay. That explains the unoriginality.

You saying Sega is a poor developer?

YES! At one point in time they were my favorite. I love their classic arcade games, I used to own a Genesis, Saturn, Game Gear, and I still have three working Dreamcast consoles.

When they went 3rd party the quality of their games weren't terrible but began to decline as time went on. Now a majority of them are just terrible. A solid title slips through the cracks on occasion, but they got to get their shit together. Some of my all time favorite IPs are becoming next gen shovelware.

For the record, I'm really looking forward to Phantasy Star Zero.
