I tryed uninstalling my game data that did't worj i put my ps3 on a standard TV a the games worked fine do you thin my hdmi cord could be the problem?
Didn't you hear? 3.0 is bricking all old PS3s so people buy slims!
lol I doubt the reason my ps3 died was because of 3.0, I think it has more to do with the HDD. I downloaded alot of demos during the weekend, and installed BATMAN, coding with 3rd party games do not mix with "T3H CELL", im going to see if I can format it somehow..

I had issues when I installed firmware 2.80 all my games where darker on screen but firmware 3.0 just fix it today so I suggest you to call sony if they told you you must pay to get it fix or wathever you should ewait untill the next firmware it might fix it, I think the firmware wasn't installed right on your ps3 and sadly you can't reinstall it or even reinstall the previous one, you can also try with another hdmi cable

yea i gona try another hdmi cable if that don't work ill call sony. But i can play my games again fine in SD but it so much worse then HD now. I don know how I played my ps3 on SD b4.

Backup your saves then reformat the HDD.

That kinda happened to me but my Tv has a Picture Size button which allow me to reduce the screen size.
