i strongly reccomend using amazon for your trade in's any thing over 60$ they give you an additional 30$ and amazon credit can be used for almost any thing lol

But seriously, a 80gb ps3 [which apparently turn out to be a Ps2 compatible] with 5 games for 250, before the slim was out.... sounds pretty good to me x)

Just the 80 Gig. Backwards Compatibility makes the Slim irrelevant.

You have the choice to leave them as they are (i.e. they will look the same on an SD TV, but probably not so good on an HD TV) or upscale them - the results of the upscaling vary in my experience but in general any decent PS2 title (graphically) will tend to look surprisingly decent upscaled while titles that are weak graphically can look a lot weaker if upscaled.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Shadow hearts and Tales of Legendia are 2 that have had issues on the 80 GB partial backward compatible systems (already documented at Playstation site) otherwise games look "better" than on my PS2. I still have the PS2 for when I want to play these two.

One thing I don't miss ... buying cartridges for game saves (I have 3). I was always worried they might get corrupted. Now with virtual cartridges I am more relaxed.

I can't believe it... after selling all my games in Amazon, I'm 4 dlls short of $60, so i can't get the extra $30 =(

OF course this is w/o selling SF4, b/c i like that game. I wanna keep it.
