So now I am done with Nintendo unless they either come out with a new color for America or put a price cut on the wii

That´s strange: im done with Nintendo unless they show us some REALLY new and nice Motion Plus games.

What da hell, people? The thing is out for two months. There´s not even a single Motion Plus new announcement made in this time frame.

There´s no new motion plus game for the rest of 2009.

What the f*** is LucasArts doing? How come a proper lightsaber motion plus game isnt announced yet??????

I just hope the first PS3 motion demo to be a deadly hardcore game with 1-on-1 mechanics. That would give nintendo a run for its money.

How did it break? i get worried when people say there new consoles break...i'm still playing my NES and i want to still be able to play my Wii in 20 years

The most likely point of failure for the Wii is the optical drive (disc reader).  I predict when many people start having optical drive failures, Nintendo, or some 3rd party company, will start making replacements.  This probably won't be a problem for several years.

However, I wonder about some of the consoles that run hotter and using more power.  I predict thier circuitry will fail early than the Wii's.  Also, the PS3/XBOX360 uses HDD where the Wii uses flash memory.  This means the PS3/XBOX360 will be suceptable to HDD failures where the Wii is not.  I am not trying to be a Wii fanboy or anything (I own a PS3 and am enjoying it more than I thought I would), I am just pointing out what I see.

Yeah i was going to say, what's the point of buying a new one if you can just pay to get it fixed? Even if it's not that cheap it's still going to be much cheaper than buying a new system, pricecut or not, and you can use the left over money to get some skins or get your case modded or something.
