And I agree you can't ignore the non-FF Kingdom Hearts fans, but you can't ignore the FF (Versus) fans as well. So SE will have to choose which one they think is bigger.

You said yourself that a lot of people who plays FF also play KH. The FF cameos aren't thrown in there for fun, they want to appeal to the largest JRPG fanbase.

You can't know that. People on gaming forums might own several platforms, that doesn't mean most people do.

Hmm, I just went looked back at the sales. Kingdom Hearts II did terrible in comparison to the first.

Do we know what happened? I mean it barely crossed two million and did under 500k in Others. The first one sold 3.5 million in America alone!

Well, maybe this is a isolated case, but i will say it anyway.

i bought KH, because I really liked the idea of a Disney RPG made by Squaresoft, but the story and the main "final fantasy like" characters turned me down, so i didn't follow the franquise.

KH2 looked interesting with the Tron, and Steamboat Willie Levels, but it didn't make it for me.

There were almost 6 months between KH II and FF XII. KH II released in eptember, FF XII in february the year after.

I think I once read a financial report of SE with european shipment numbers, which made the VGC numbers seem undertracked. But the same can be true for KH I.

i agree with this, i onyl liked it cause it had disney making it feel not as JRPG ish. i wana c spiderman in kingdom hearts thagt would be cool

I see KH3 threads are still as heated as ever, so I'll just hit a few points.

- KH3 will be for Wii. Stop fighting it.

- The Disney characters make KH what it is, removing them is stupid. They're the entire point of the game. All the characters, themes, plot, etc are inspired by, based on, or directly lifted from Disney material. The FF characters are cameos. Sure, it's nice to see them, but they're not important at all.

- All the people knocking Disney TV shows as a source for new worlds/material: You are horribly, horribly mistaken. You keep using recntexamples (which they should stay far, far away from), you need to go back to much better times...like the Disney Afternoon. Darkwing Duck plz (though I think even Nomura would be hard pressed to explain the existence of The Jungle Book and Talespin!)

You dont know if its for wii, claim it its stupid since the decission might not even be taken by SE yet.

Characters like Leon are as important as all the disney characters that are not Mickey, Donald and Goofy. We already said KH is about both, but more importantly the story of Sora, his friends and the Keyblade so there is no point arguing further.

On the last thing I have nothing to say.
