Well, maybe this is a isolated case, but i will say it anyway.
i bought KH, because I really liked the idea of a Disney RPG made by Squaresoft, but the story and the main "final fantasy like" characters turned me down, so i didn't follow the franquise.
KH2 looked interesting with the Tron, and Steamboat Willie Levels, but it didn't make it for me.
