Are you sure? The IGN review says no bloom in Echoes due to 'rendering differences'.

MP has aged excellently, in fact, it looks better than most Wii games.

I'm pretty sure echoes already had bloom. If it was fake, then it was pulled off much better than it was in metroid prime then.You wouldn't notice it much of the time anyway though, since half your time is in the dark world.

Ok to all people that disagree with Rol on that 1up in unfair. First I agree with Rol and do think that 1UP doesn't make any sense. Why? well because they shouldn't just give a game a lower rating because it is the same game as before and only has few changes because they can't just say that it is the same game and is the same without any changes....Firstly all of you already know the changes, I believe. So with those changes the games gets a little different. But because Nintendo understands that People don't want to buy the same thing over again and so also have put the game in a collectors edition and have included some extra things like the art booklet. So theres plenty of change in the game the major is the control system and people are always talking about game play and how controls sucked for this game but were better in this game. so to many people controls are a major part and they are and so Nintendo have made them better one major improvement. then theres all the extras like widescreen and bumped up graphics and some extras like art booklet and collectors edition metal case for series fans. So tis not just the same game. Overall its same but theres a lot of improvement and at least Nintendo put this out for fans and people who haven't played the game. so for people who haven't played the game like myself its a really good value so shouldn't it get points for the game. and congrats to Nintendo cause they fit it onto one disc which is wonderful and you don't have to swap discs while your in the middle of the game.

Ill admit i never noticed the bloom in Prime like i did in Corruption or Twilight Princess. It was rather disappointing.

I been on the fence about getting this are they really worth it if I played all the previous games?

I would say so. Prime and Echoes are like totally new games. I beat Prime in 02, and played (but never finished) Echoes in 04. 5 years later i dont remember a thing about Echoes and only the Space Pirate theme from Prime.

So if you can clearly remember the previous games, skip, but otherwise get it.

lol i only beat metroid prime once(borrowed from a friend) and I beat mp2 once also(even tho somehow i own 2 copies of the game)...can't remember much from them really
