Even if a reviewer thinks one of the games is worth 100%, that reveiwer might feel like being contrarian.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Not for a sequel and Zelda would have to be one hell of a reimagining inorder to rate that high. Galaxy was praised because it was so groundbreaking and if Zelda can match that (highly unlikely, it just is) then maybe it can match GTA4.

No...Galaxy 2 would get lower scores for being a sequel, even if it is a better game. Something like Majoras Mask after Ocarina of time (I'm not saying Majora Mask was better, I really enjoyed both, but they "seem" almost identical).

No, so far the closes is OoT with 99, no chance that game gets topped.
I'm going to say flat 90 for both, hoping to be pleasantly surprised =)
I'm sure they will be great games, but OOT had different circumstances that helped it get the review scores it did.
I think it will be in the mid 90's nonetheless.

The reviewers have to either think the game is worth 100% or deserves it (the latter seems to influence reviews more these days).
Any animosity towards the Wii in the gaming press has to be overcome. And it's not just me that's claiming it. Naznatips has stated this from personal experience.

Well, we've already moved to scores past 100 (since that one site gave Arkham Asylum a 930%), so by then, 100 will be the new 10
