Last week my cousin broke my Super smash. bros brawl disk and I didn't play the Wii since. Today I went on the Nintendo channel and it was fine. I went on the internet channel and it was fine. I put in a gamecube disk and it was still fine. I finally put in a wii disk and an error message came up. I tested it with 5 other wii games and all of them were broken and the error message kept coming up. So I went to Nintendo.com and they said to type in my wii number on the back. I do only to find out that they can't repair my wii because the number is not in Nintendo's database and now i am mad.

get a wii disc fixer(or whatever it's called) at gamestop.

Are you sure you typed in the serial number correctly?

Yes I tried twice and it won't work.

TO everyone else its not just Super Smash its the whole Wii!!

hm maybe updating it? my wii sports resort kept playing the tutorial everytime so i updated the wii and problem solved.

hmm call ninty they will help you troubleshoot and it it doesn't work then this is a serious big problem its probably something major it won't be fixed for free then and wil probably cost you like 75

that is officially lame

every disc based system ive had has broken down in one way or the other (ps2, xbox, 360) but my wii is rock solid

it feels like fisher price level of durability

only game that ever didn twork was metroid prime game cube.

Hmm.  Is there anything that could be a different character (like O or 0)?  Make sure you include the last character of the serial number.  That is the character inside a square.

If it still doesn't work, I would just call.  Nintendo has pretty good customer service.
