While that's true, he's got a point: signs are out of control.

First the size, there's a crapload of posters with humongous sigs.

Second, content. There's people using their sig space as an advertisement venue and I don't mean the viral shit but images ripped straight from ads, there are example on this very same thread.





Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Sony fans get disappointed almost every time cause their expectations are normally at a far from sane height. LittleBigPlanet will be huge.

The fact is everything that was "supposed" to push the PS3 to utter domination over 360 in the past failed, whether it was MGS4, prior price cuts, KIllzone 2, etc. Why will slim be any different?

 

My point is, wait for the data!

 

At the first paragraph - if you honestly believe VGChartz data is unreliable, then leave.

@ fourth - actually, the previous PS3 price cut did push the PS3 well over the 360 until the 360 price cut

 

@ fifth - that is not your point, because you claim to already know how it will turn out. Your point is that you hate Sony or love MS, I'm not sure which.

The 360 is 199, the PS3 is 299.  They are not the same price. 

The 360 Elite is now 299, just like the PS3, but they were both 399 until price cuts, so yes, the PS3 and 360 have had skus at the same price for a while.

In any event, the 360 is still 100 bucks cheaper and for a lot of christmas shoppers that 100 makes a difference.

mostly true but im guessing that xbox buyers will go with the fully-loaded version which is the elite bcus it does include the hd. Unless some stores, such as wal-mart, bundle the arcade like last year, then the arcade may be the selling better version but the smart ones no that w/o a hard driver the 360 wont be able to take full advantage of the online features.

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

It doesn't matter, there has never been a PS3 this cheap and you will soon see the results of what that price means for it.

Also, the 360 was never $299 without a $199 model. We don't know how it would have performed had the $299 model only been available.

Are you joking?  The 360 was 299 at launch.

I think the mistake a lot of people make is that the general public cares as much about specs and things like wi-fi as people like us on gaming forums do.  Sure, a LOT of people care which is why the pro and elites were half of the 360s that sold, but I think a far greater number of peopel just buy what their friends have and what's popular.  The PS2 was not the best technical system and lacked the standard HD that the Xbox had but that didn't matter at all, it was the hot item and that what people bought.  Just like the Wii was the hot item this generation, and it's why it's still been outselling the cheaper Xbox 360.
