Everything else on that list is a re-release or just the same game on a different platform.

And look what's counted... MGS1.. on PSN!!!!

Metal Gear Solid ESSENTIALS.... do you know what that is????
Also... everyone... look at numbers 24 and 26...

I'd also like to add that

1) SONY has no controll over what platforms the series goes to.
2) SONY has no control over how many Metal Gear's are made.
3) Across 4 SONY Platforms there are 7 main Metal Gears [possibly only 6] [released and announced]
4) Across 2 MS Platforms there are, as you stated, 6 and going to be 8 Halo's.
5) You're really comparing MS and Konami... not MS and SONY...

OT: I laugh at anyone who thinks Halo is milked. If you want to know the meaning of milked, you should take a good look at Singstar or Guitar Hero lol.

I think I can only consider a franchise milked when games start to deteriorate or stay the same in quality.

Halo is not there...

Guitar Hero, SingStar, Final Fantasy, Sonic, etc. Are milked...

Mario is not milked because they keep on inventing great new Mario games. Same with Metal Gear Solid.

Halo is only just starting to be milked. I'm fine with Halo 1, 2 and 3 but come on ODST? Reach? Wars?

There were only 2 halo's last gen (both main storyline) and there will be at least 4 this gen (only 1 on the main storyline).

Any more spinoffs and I'd start to consider it milked. Final Fantasy is the pinnacle of milked though.

the differnce is all of the MGS games came out LAST GENERATION and this entire generation there has only been one game, and two more in development.

theres only about 10-15 MGS games while there are 7 Halo games, and only 1 MGS game was made this gen and 5 halo games this gen which PROVES halo is being milked way more.
