when i want to play online, i want to play online. play games online with my friends. for free.

sure xbox live has some features like Twitter, Facebook (PS3 has internet browser, so it doesnt make a difference) and Netflix, but are those really necasarry?

If i want to use facebook ill use my computer, or my ps3 for FREE. Netflix doesnt really matter either, because I can just use my PC, or use the PSVideo Store.

IMO Xbox Live gives you a better experience, but it is not necassary/worth it since ps3 gives you almost the exact same features but for $50 cheaper (free).

Personally, I think your wish to drop the argument is less due to misunderstanding on my part than to inability to effectively refute my points on yours, but in any case there's certainly no rule against backing away without conceding. 

I might get more than just multiplayer, but frankly if I don't use any other benefit of Gold then yes that is all I'm paying for.  I'll admit that part of my refusal to pay for online play is that I don't do it as much as some people do, so I would be paying comparatively more per hour of play.

I agree, All I do and want is to play online mp, I think that I had paid over $300 dollars just to play online for the past 3 years..  ($50 here and there, $20 for 3 month here and there)

All I want is for Silver accounts to get online mp as the standard as beginners, the exta $50 fee is for gold that offers the full package (chat,isntant msg, party inv..etc) is that simple..

Now I'm more inclined in getting a PS3 slim just to play online cuz that's all I care.    

Free is free and is the best offer.. imo

I think soon I will start playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on a Playstation and not with my wallet..

Dude, that's how he is. Don't argue with him. He called me a biased fanboy troll because I didn't mention GT5 in a forza 3 thread. When I told him people get banned for mentioning another game in a specific games thread he basically told me I should have done it anyway to not look so biased. He said I always spread 360 FUD and he could only come up with one questionable post. Which was I didn't think F3 damage was realistic. And then he told me to stop cherry picking my comments when I posted 70 of my last comments showing I don't even talk about the 360.

I'm the same way. I just want to connect and play. I don't make friends over the game. I'm strictly there to play. I hardly have friends who own 360's and Ps3's and the ones that do hardly play online. So I could care less for all the extra social features Live has.

Looks like you're seeing things your way again. The title to the message telling me why you got banned was "been banned for calling nightsurge a douche" now it's because you mentioned a game in another games thread!?! Do you constantly lose grip on reality?
You criticised the damage graphics in forza then claimed you meant that both Forza and GT aren't realistic. without mentioning GT so I said if that was the point then you should mention GT as well or it looks like you're trolling.
