Oh god I loved this movie. I loved it! Loved it! LOVED IT!

I'm a big Ghibli fan... although right now I just watched Miyazaki's work. I'll see the other ones soon.

I completely agree, characters talking to themselves is one of the few things that weakens miyazakis scripts. I'm a big fan of his films, but I certainly am not a fan of that.
