EGM is 1UP's magazine. The reviews are almost always the same as 1UP's. I use IGN and Gametrailers.
Great. It got 93% from PSM3 Magazine UK (Heavenly Sword - 65%, Warhawk 90%) if anyone treats them seriously...
I hope Uncharted will score over 90% too...
Please, don't start comparisons with Mario Galaxy. SMG can hold its own even in the technical aspect of graphics but they are very different games. R&C is more of shooting and explosions and such, Mario is more exploration, jumping, etc.
Good to see that this game is doing good, but as someone said up there, I expect this one to be ignored by the vast majority of PS3's core audience (12-17)... something like this: "What?! Cartoony characters... are you f*n kidding me? Where are my shotgun-wielding muscular men?"
Looks like a awesome game anyway.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

I have to disagree. Totally. Ratchet isn't as "silly" and corny character as Mario. Robots, guns and not so childish humour make this game attractive especially for group you've mentioned above. 15 yo kid will find Mario silly while 25 yo guy will find it cute. That's the difference. Kids find different things mature. This game is perfectely preset for Sony's audience. Perfectely.
Obviously this title can't face Mario Galaxy in terms of sale but... shit we have another very solid game. For me this is the most important thing.
