Last year at the same time as this year the pro got a price cut. Last year it was to bring in the 60 Gig models, this year its to bring in the elite model.

Now, last september there was a huge price cut, i think that there will be another decent price cut this year, however, not as big as last years...

No, I don't see another price cut coming. Why would ps3 slim cause another? At BEST, the ps3 and xbox will sell the same as they did in 2008 before the price x360 price cut...with ps3 outselling it by 10K-20K each week.

X360 is 8 million ahead and still has the $199 arcade model (the lowest priced console) for the holidays. Why would they drop the price again? Do you think ps3 slim is gonna run away with the market?

I could see the arcade unit going lower yet. And I see pack-ins, not price cuts for the elite. Greenberg, I think, even hinted at some big Black Friday bundle deals in the interview with Joystiq.

I think we'll see lots of PRO units with bundled games, and Elite units with one bundle game for $300. No $250 Elite or $150 Arcade, sorry.
