LET ME START OF BY SAYING THAT I DO NOT HATE ANY ONE PERSON AND THAT I RESPECT AND LOVE EVERYONE AS A PERSON

Because I know this can be a deep subject to talk about and trust me, I've been in plenty arguments in the past (arguments are a healthy part of conversation). But as everyone is entitled to their own opinion I do hope that no one takes it personal because it is not aimed at any one person and that nobody hates me. But as there was a thread dedicated to those who are out and proud, I too want too express my own opinions about hetero's because I believe straight is right.

I'm going to be truthful and this may hurt, but I do find the act of serious homosexuality to be disgusting. I can't help but to feel that way it just happens. Women, girl's, females, whatever you want to call em are on this Earth for a reason. So we can reproduce and strive and live on to the next generation. Those who are gay, well, you can't argue that one of your (real) parents is female and one is male. Now, I'm not saying people who are homo are not different if they want to be, but I believe a guy and a girl together should be the way to be. I'm not saying this because I'm religious, or because I hate anyone, or it doesn't even really have anything to do with marriage as for now, but that is my opinion.

Now, after saying that, I do believe in every person being treated the same whether they are black, white, gay, straight, or even bi. But accepting the idea of homosexuality is something that that I never see myself doing. Straight people do not celebrate being straight (I think) so I do not believe homosexualism should be celebrated. Sorry.

But, I do have one more question. What if every single human on the Earth was gay and opposed to heterosexualism. Would we see the end of humanity?

I appreciate your freedom of speech and you are entitled to your opinion so I wont tell you to believe something else. But quite frankly I don't undertand how you can oppose how someone feels towards other human beings, because a love between two members of the same sex is as strong as two heterosexual people.

And yes if everyone was homosexual then we would die out, but we're not, only 10% of people are so the people who choose to be homosexual have no real significant impact on human reproduction.

How you can oppose the idea and act of homosexuality is beyond me and I hope you grow up to discover that you yourself are in fact homosexual so you can experience first hand what these kinds of damaging opinions have on you.

Its ok to think and say that as long as you don't harm somebody because they are gay.

Anyway, nobody is stopping you from celebrating your heterosexuality in the same way people celebrate homosexuality so feel free to express yourself in the same way they do. Start a thread if you like, go on a straight parade, do whatever you feel like. But also realise that you can have pride because others are allowed to have pride because of life choices too, there's nothing wrong with having pride.

I don't think anyone has to find homosexuality to be a beautiful thing. I mean, I think sex in general looks pretty nasty unless you have a shit load of makeup, perfect lighting, perfect people, editing, etc. So there's absolutely nothing wrong for you to think it's visually disgusting.

If you feel that... I can only say it as "You're doing it wrong!" thing, well, then why not find oral sex, anal sex, vasectomy, condom use, etc disgusting? Why not find inmpotence to be disgusting? Sex doesn't have to be for reproduction only. Hetrosexuals usually engage in sex, not thinking "Hey! Lets make a baby!", but "Hey! Let's get some sexual satisfaction!" just like gays do.

If you're fearing of a loss of population, don't worry, most people are worrying about over population in the long term. And not every person needs to be super productive and make a baby. Like I said before, you won't find straight couples who decide not to make babies, impotent people, etc disgusting right?

As for the right thing, there's the whole nature argument and shit with the penguin or whatever, but to me that's not an issue. We humans have a limited ability to resist reflex and impulse, allowing us to always "Do it wrong!". In fact, we've been "Doing it wrong!" for so many generations and that exactly is what allows us to be such a succesful species. If we limit reproduction, you might think we're "Doing it wrong!" but if we go with the blind goal of making as many babies as possible that'll exaust our resources. In the first place, there's no "Doing it right!" in nature. Who says that passing on your genes is the purpose in life? That's ridiculous, your purpose in life can be to build a magnificent building, save a person's life, atone for your sins, etc.

Science is in the realm of science, morality and philosophy is in a realm of its own. It's equally wrong for Christians and theiests to rely on philosophy and morality to make up for their lack of tangible evidence when it comes to God debate, as it is wrong for nations to use and twist science to justify the exterminations of "subhumans" and perfect the evolution of their race.

You shouldn't think in such robotic terms.

I TOTALLY agree with you about "Gay pride', and I remember getting flamed by the OP in the Who's gay thread.

It's ridiculous to be proud of your sexual orientation, just as it is to be proud of your skin color, gender, etc. There's NO reason to be ASHAMED of those types of qualities. "X" Pride proponents will agree and will be preaching this. However, I don't know how that then transition from that there IS a reason to be PROUD of having browner skin than other people, or wanting fuck a fellow man/woman. There's nothing. You have different pigments, you have a penis instead of a vagine or vice versa, etc. It's just a fact.

Of course if I just leave it that, then I'll look like I'm opposing the act of valuing something. Nothing really has value, it's only our opinion and we humans put value on things. But as a fellow human I don't see how other humans came to the conclusion that these qualities were pride worthy.

At least with things like having a strong body, or a smart mind I know that I worked hard for these things, and reflect on my character. Many people will find pride in beauty to be shallow, and so why then do people go on and shout "Black is beautiful!". To be proud of born qualities is something dangerous in my opinion, as you get pride you never even earned for and cheapens it. Having excessive pride also results in looking down other people without those born qualities, and results in discrimination, the exact reason why people wanted to start "X" pride in the first place >.<

In conclusion, I believe we should be proud of things we earn in life, and not things we are simply born with and had no control over in the first place.

As for humanity ending in that nearly impossible scenario, I'm sure gay people will see the imminent danger. Lesbians already allow themselves to get artificially inseminated, so it's not like they absolutely will refuse to touch semen or anything. The government will force women to bear birth if necessary. Gay couples want children anyway, so there'll be a demand for children in the first place. Propbably poor people will sell their bodies and become surrogate mothers for hire.

IDK, at that point I wouldn't be disgusted at the thought of homosexuality, but a scenario found in dystopia novels actually coming true O.o
