not really. A game like resistance 3 needs more than a year in development.

resistance 2 was o.k., definitely not deserving of all the bashing it recieves but it could have been so much better if insomniac decided from the begining to give it more development time.

Resistance is a first in gaming for me.
I loved the first, (at PS3 launch) and was so excited for the 2nd. Everything from the graphics to the multiplayer to the coop to the trophys looked like R2 was going to be the best shooter ever.

And here is where it made gaming history for me personally...

The sum of all of those great parts turned out to be.............. BAD.
I was telling my friends to buy it, and I let them down. Uninspired, overrated, gunky looking crap imo. And I love all Sony games. The menu systems are terrible, the local co-op is so broken, I dont even know where to begin. The level design is cluttered garbage. The bosses are chincy and the whole game feels incredibly corny imo. I hate playing R2, and I cant really go into specifics more than this because it is hard to describe why I hate it.

Regardless of what is offered or shown, I will not allow myself to ever look forward to Resistance 3. Insomniac needs to move on and create a new type of game. Stick to ratchet because FPS is not their specialty. They should try any other genre imo.

There is too much competition in the FPS market, and COD and Killzone are just soooooooo much better to me.

Resistance is an easy franchise to be impressed with, 60 players.. awesome, right?
